KellyConnect is looking for outgoing and motivated customer service agents to join their team. According to KellyConnect, over 3.9 million Americans worked from home in 2017, and they want to help keep that number up.

They do have a training process in place and agents actually get paid $13.50 per hour during it. Customer service reps are also eligible for a $1 raise after just 90 days with the company. Agents will have to multitask and be comfortable using online chat services, instant messaging, and other online tools. 

2. Working Solutions

Be your own boss when you join the customer service team at Working Solutions. You’ll need to make sure to have a USB headset and a computer with at least 8GB of RAM. They also, unfortunately, ask applicants for $18.50 to perform background checks. This will include national and county checks and also social security verification.

Customer service applicants are also required to take an assessment which typically takes about 30 minutes to complete. Working Solutions agents work on what’s called a program. The starting rate with Blue Zebra is $15 per hour. If you bring the results in 30-60 days you could see a 10-14% raise. 5. Sitel

Another popular home-based customer service job that pays up to $15 per hour is Sitel. They have plenty of agents with over 80,000 currently on the team but are always looking to add more. They help customers all around the world over chat, email, or phone.

Sitel acts as a job board for companies needing customer service help. One current position is a company looking for someone to come in and work 31-40 hours per week. 7. NexRep

The position will include some sales so agents can earn a commission. New team members are asked to attend online training which typically lasts nearly 2 weeks. Classes would be Monday-Friday from 11 AM-5 PM. Agents must be able to type at least 35 words per minute and an associate degree or some college is preferred.
