Home-Based Transcription Jobs with Diaz Transcription Services

Diaz Transcription Services is hiring home-based transcribers to type U.S. immigration appeal hearings. These are contract positions.

Payment is made weekly, upon invoice to the company, and the company’s page rates are highly competitive.

You must have two years of transcription experience.

“You must be able to secure a Federal Public Trust clearance in order to transcribe these hearings. Applicants with active Federal Security Public Trust clearance will be fast-tracked through the application process. If you are looking for consistent and stable work, we are the company you want to partner with, and this account has a backlog of work that will last for years.”

Requirement (from work-at-home job listing):

• Prior Transcription experience is a MUST
• Have a Windows computer equipped with the latest Windows software, Adobe PDF, and Microsoft Word 2010 or higher
• Must be able to commit to transcribing a minimum of 3 audio hours per week, which roughly translates into 120 pages per week
• Have a high-speed internet connection
• After onboarding, successful installation and use of PKZip
• Understand and use correct English punctuation
• Able to follow a required template and formatting
• Be comfortable with researching names and terms on the Internet
• Be committed to ensure files are accurate upon completion
• Meet all deadlines for return of transcripts
• Be able to upload and download files and use other basic computer skills
• Be legally eligible to work in the United States – US Citizen
• Bonus incentive available for high producers
